If you want to connect a serial device from your browser then you need a browser which supports a serial port connection. Chrome can connect to a serial device if you enable Experimental Web Platform features on the chrome://flags/ page and enable the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile in Serial API on the same page.
Reloading the application a number of times when the browser has a serial connection can cause problems. If this happens then Wheel appears to connect to a device but no data is sent or received. Restarting the browser and Lego(r) brick solves the problem.
